Straight Talk

I'm doing a series of short, simple sermons, every Tuesday night on "Straight Talk About Being A Christian". The gap between what Christian believe and how they actually live their lives is too wide. So I decided to make it plain those who will listen. Straight Talk. What areas do you feel that us Christian believe in but don't live out?

Forgiveness has always been something that I've observed and feel that Christians struggle with living out through Christ's example. Very hard to do! Especially if a person has been SERIOUSLY offended. Abused, walked out on as a child, close one murdered, etc... It's hard to let go of these things and Christians need to be aware of the DANGER un-forgiveness imposes on them vs. the offender.

Might be a good topic???

No Way! I'll try to think up something else. Are you going to be posting this series online for the world wide web to listen in on??? I hope so!

Promise keeping.
Our God is a promise-keeper, and thank God He is. But we Christians so often throw out a promise then fail to follow through. If we are to truly be sons and daughters of the most high, then like Him our word should be our bond
