I'm not a Luddite, even though many people my age are. I've been using a computer for personal study, sermon writing, accounting etc... since 1988. Most of my peers at the time didn't even know what I was doing and some thought it was "all of the devil". So when I tell you that I'm worried about this generation of young adults not reading and learning I get it that times have changed. Traditional books are not the only form of reading one is able to access nowadays. Yet, even the new forms of communication are not interesting or insightful. Part of the problem is the publishing industry. They are churning out books (and music for that matter) that have little or no real content. No wonder people don't read books! I stumbled across this YouTube video that gives a unique perespective on what I'm talking about.
